Julia comfortably wears two hats at LFC inc. –helping clients’ businesses and our company run more smoothly.
As the Concierge Coordinator, Julia coordinates requests from LFC’s corporate clients.
“I ensure that our corporate clients receive the same prompt, excellent service that individual clients enjoy,” she says.
As the Marketing Director, Julia loves telling the LFC inc. story in brochures, letters, web text, and web videos. Julia also enjoys meeting potential clients and learning about their work, as part of sharing how LFC inc. can serve them.
Julia comes to LFC following two years as a journalist, and two in the non-profit sector. She moved to Chapel Hill from Washington, DC in 2009 following the completion of a training program in broadcast news at The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and work as an editor at The Friday Times, in Lahore, Pakistan. She is extremely happy that her professional journey has brought her to the Triangle and LFC inc.
“I love working in a fun, supportive environment that welcomes my creativity and independent spirit. I believe in the old Kahlil Gibran adage -- Work is love made visible, and it seems that my colleagues live by this motto as well,” she says.
Her other loves include: poetry; Underground Hip-Hop, R&B and Blues; seeing great lectures at local colleges and universities; volunteering for the Greater Triangle YWCA Racial Justice Program, the Greater Durham Exchange Club, and PLAN!T NOW; and time spent with her generous and inspiring family and friends, like her life partner, Raj. She hopes to convince him and her landlord to let her have a cat soon.
